Curriculum Content: Voice tutorial on root words as the base words that carry meaning and have derivatives.
Features: Highly interactive module with a variety of exercises. Students work with base words and their derivatives (write, plant, grow, care, swim, sleep, cold, bake, calm, float, work, play, add, light, most, do, call, sail). Word list prepares students for reading in Module LAB5.
Plural Endings
Curriculum Content: Voice tutorial on plural endings for words ending in "x" - "s" - "sh" - "ch."
Features: Highly interactive module focuses on when to add the "es" ending. Word list prepares students for reading in Module LAB5.
Roots and Endings
Curriculum Content: Grade 2.5 reading level. Teaches recognizing root words and their endings, and when to drop the silent "e."
Features: Interactive voice module asks students to identify the root within words (stranded, lightning, sinking, doomed, reached, sickened, slowly, thinking, locker, crashing, making). Teaches when to drop the final "e." Reviews silent "e" and words without a silent "e.’ Word list prepares students for reading in Module LAB5.

Suffixes

Prefixes
Curriculum Content: Voice tutorial and drill on prefixes (dis, im, in, mis, non, over, post, pre, re, un).
Features: Interactive module reviews suffixes and teaches the meaning of prefixes. Word list prepares students for reading in Module LAB5.
Spelling and Suffixes
Curriculum Content: Teaches how the spelling of words changes by adding suffixes.
Features: Interactive voice module focuses on when to change the "y" to "i" in adding suffixes. Word list prepares students for reading in Module LAB5.
